Being my first time being married, I wanted to plan a picture perfect wedding shower. I knew I needed help, so I asked my sister if she wanted to help me. She agreed and was excited as much as I was. I know there is a lot of work to be done when planning a shower and I was eager to get started. I always was good at planning showers, so I knew I could make this wedding shower a success. I didn’t have a lot of time and I knew I better get started with the planning.
My sister and I looked for a hall big enough to fit all of my guests. We found one and it was near my house. We then went searching on the internet for all the decorations and gifts. We saw so many themed wedding shower ideas that were cute. I bought all my decorations and gifts for the shower. I needed to find the shower favors. There were so many to choose from. This took some time to decide when looking at all the wonderful shower favors. I saw this cotton handkerchief and knew right away that this is what I am going to give my guests. I also thought that I could get one for me on my wedding day. I found a hankerchief that was so gorgeous. I knew right away that all my guests would love the handkerchiefs. Everything was turning out. We had the hall and ordered all the decorations, gifts and wedding favors. I had to decide what type of food I was going to get for my wedding party. My shower was a success and will be in my memory always. I am so glad that my sister was there to plan the shower with me. It made me feel good that she was by my side through this. I like to work out hard, and if the pros are many and the cons are few, and if it’s totally natural, I’ll look seriously into taking something to help me improve my work-out results. As centerpieces for our reception tables I used citronella votive candles and place them in glass globes with flowers around them, and used park bench place card holders for each guest. The chrome bottle openers we bought for our guests were packaged in beautiful favors boxes and given out as a summer wedding theme. The most beautiful part of our wedding table was our cake with it’s gorgeous wedding cake topper.

I found it while browsing online for my other wedding accessories, and fell in love with it. They were especially customized for the bride and groom. After I sent them a head shot of my fiance and myself they made our bride and groom topper to look exactly like us. Talk about the best wedding keepsake you can get. Our friends and family were really loved the cake topper and gave us a lot of compliments on it. All the wonderful accessories I ordered for our reception and wedding ceremony came from the same place, including our champagne flutes and silver cake set. It was amazing all the super accessories you can buy online.

Everything at the wedding and reception were fantastic. The weather cooperated and we never had to go to plan “B” with the tents. We had a wonderful DJ that I’m sure, kept the music going long after we left for our honeymoon. Everyone commented on what a lovely ceremony and super reception we had. I’m so glad I decided to go with a wedding in the park.     Deciding on what type of wedding we wanted was the biggest issue with me and my fiance. I wanted to have a fairy tale wedding, ya know, like Cinderella and Prince Charming. But he wasn’t too keen on the idea, especially when it came to the horse drawn buggy and the red carpet. He said it sounded silly to him. He liked the idea of a beach wedding, which is alright, but I wanted something with a little more class, something that I could decorate with lots of shine and glitter. So, we compromised and planned for a traditional wedding and reception. I was able to have gorgeous glass favors on all of our reception tables, and I also chose a few crystal favors too. Without even leaving my home, I purchased everything I needed for my wedding day. It was easy on our budget, easy on my feet, and it saved gas money for me to not have the stress of shopping from store to store. There was an exact replica of my man and I, only a several inches high, that was custom-made for us for our wedding cake topper. That may be my favorite souvenier from the entire day, and it looked so cool. We picked out crystal-handled cake serving utensils that had the bride and groom engraved in them, and they went spendidly with our champagne flutes that had a similar look to them. Our close friends and relatives all received champagne glass wedding favors as a bonus wedding favor. Each of the women at our wedding got crystal wedding favors, and each of the men who were our guests got shot glass wedding favors. The crystal favor I found for the ladies were lovely crystal perfume bottles that were attached to a keychain and you can carry your favorite fragrance around with you everywhere you go. That was something that I figured they’d really appreciate. The containers they arrive in are silver and have a pretty bow and hang tags. The place card holders for the reception were attractive and unusual as well. They were little clusters of grapes, made of glass and the place card fit right in the center of the grapes. The reception tables shimmered because of them.
   They have a lot of neat glass favors for events other than weddings as well. Baby showers and bridal showers have certain favors of glass too. The ones they had for baby showers were really adorable, like little baby buggies and booties. I will have the hostess check out this website when I ultimately have the baby shower that I anticipate having some day. I was not limited by the selection, and I got some awesome deals. For newlyweds, saving a few extra dollars can go a long way.

   Is there any more effective way to express your love than to get married with a wedding in the same month as Valentine’s Day? That’s what I decided to do, have a ceremony and reception filled with one of the most adorned symbols of love throughout our ceremony and reception party. I started it off with the loveliest tiara that I ran across online. There were many wonderful decorations and supplies to choose from, such as the lovely invitations I bought. The cards we used as wedding invitations had a pair of hearts on the front of them, both silver. The only thing I really had to do was write in the information, like the place and the date, and the rest was already filled out in beautiful calligraphy when we got them.

   When the invitations were completed, I had to go forward with putting together the exact products that I would use. I selected a red velvet set of ribbons and bows that I would put on the end of and string between the church pews. The unity candle we used had a design of tiny roses put together to form a heart shape on the front of it, and the rest of the candle decorations made the altar look exquisite. We used red roses all over the wedding ceremony, like in my bouquet, where they were mixed with pink roses, and throughout the church. It may have been a touch extravagant, but I’ve always wanted to have doves released as we left the church building, so we did, and it I thought it was wonderful.

   We had figured out what our young ring boy and flower girl and everyone else was going to wear. As a flower girl basket, I decided to go with a gorgeous white satin with lovely lace and satin bows on each side. There was a white double hearts wedding themed pillow with a pair of gold hearts on it that we got for our ring boy to use, along with a white ribbon made of satin for the rings. My bridal tiara was a pretty good match for the one that I picked out for the flower girl to wear in the ceremony. With her lovely pink flower girl skirt and her crown, I felt that she could have passed for a princess, especially when she did such a graceful job in the wedding. So did the ring boy, he was quite elegant in his little tuxedo with a red boutonniere in his lapel. When he walked, he didn’t get out of sync with everyone else, and he bore the rings in distinguished fashion. They both made me very proud.

   The centerpieces we had made up for the reception dinner had tiny hearts intermixed with roses that were white, pink, and red. We placed two hearts wedding candles on each table in order to create the ambiance of romance that I wanted to achieve, and they were accompanied by what I considered to be the best decor available. The wedding favors we got our guests should be a terrific souvenir from our wedding; they had handles in the shape of a heart attached to tiny silver bells. There were frosting hearts all around the bottom layer of our wedding cake, and each layer was decked out in pink and red roses all around. Our hearts wedding cake had a white porcelain topper on it that complimented the rest of our cake décor beautifully.

This was truly a hearts wedding filled with love and romance the way every wedding ceremony should be.  From the wedding invitations to the hearts wedding favors the ambiance was alive with romance. The reception hall as well as the chapel were filled with hearts, flowers and beautiful candles. The crystal and silver we chose for the table settings were just as exquisite as the heart favor we gave to  all of our guests. This was truly a wedding day to be long remembered.

We found an eye-catching cake topper to go with the magnificent wedding cake we’d picked out. The wedding cake topper, which looked lovely as it was, had my groom and my initials in silver, and then accented by small, shimmering crystals. The exquisite cake server set we picked out had handles that were made to like clothing for the bride and groom on their wedding day. Our wedding table was very elegant with all the lovely shiny crystal champagne flutes and wine glasses and our reception tables were exquisite too. The place card holders I got off the Internet matched perfectly with the fine china and champagne flutes. These placecard holders were really quite unique in style. The place cards went on top of a daisy petal, and the daisies sat inside a wee flower pot.
We were really impressed by the efforts of our caterers, with the several choices of salads, main entrees, and desserts. The musical performers we got for our reception were an awesome choice, too. My man knows some people, and he managed to bring in about the most talented group in our locale. They knew any song that anyone asked for, and they knew it well. They played our song so beautifully that dancing our first dance together was one of the most magical moments of the night. One attendee at our wedding walked up and offered them a good chunk of change to come and play in about a month at his son’s engagement party.
Everything at our wedding and reception was spectacular and it just couldn’t have been better. We will have a lot of memories captured between the photographer we had there and the video that we shot of our ceremony and our first dance. With all of the pictures we’ll have, I was relieved that had the foresight to buy two picture albums. I purchased a coffee table album to put in our family room as well. It’s really beautiful with a silver metal frame with two lovely hearts. And then on top of that, I wanted to remember our Cancun honeymoon forever, so I picked out a picture album for that as well. So, when it came to photos, we were all set.
Taking my vows with my husband in front of all of our loved ones is something that I will cherish for the rest of my life. It was the most important day of my life and I have lots of memories and keepsakes stored away to prove it. The honeymoon wasn’t too shabby either.
