Incredible champagne toasting flute
Wednesday, May 6th, 2009My fiance and I set the date for our wedding in January, because I had my heart set on a winter wonderland ceremony and reception. A wedding built around snow and ice can be wonderful, and there are plenty of items you can obtain to make it happen. If you’re going with any kind of themed ceremony or reception at all, you will find loads of alternatives to pick from when you get around to shopping for gifts, invitations, and other products you’ll need. Our wedding ceremony color scheme was in silver and wintery blue. We also had fake snow and lovely candles at the altar, including our winter themed unity candle. It really was a gorgeous wedding ceremony.
The white tableclothes at our reception looked lovely next to the red table runners on each table. I had beautiful white orchids in gorgeous silver vases for our centerpieces and they went so well with the winter décor. I ran across some snowball ornament place card holders, and I used those for the reception. Not only are they beautiful card holders but they are awesome little ornaments as well. To express our gratitiude for their coming to our special day, we got our relatives and other loved ones champagne bottles favors and matching toasting flutes. champagne flutes make great little thank you gifts. When you looked at our reception tables, all you could think of was the pristine majesty of the wintertime. We had a wedding cake with three layers; underneath it was a cake stand in the form of a sled, and above it was a cake topper made out of porcelain in the form of a snowflake. The artwork on the serving set for our cake, that I purchased over the Internet, also had a winter look to it. There was an icy blue shade to the handles which was accentuated with white snowflakes. Perfect for our themed reception and the handles matched with the winter wedding guestbook and pen I picked out.
The handles on the champagne toasting flute matched the sign in book and cake serving set we had, all with winter designs. They had the little snowflakes and were done in white and icy blue colors and were really exquisite with all the other winter themed accessories on our wedding table. Our reception guests loved the place card holders and other gifts that they received, and the look of the tables was to die for. The little flower girl seemed happy with her necklace we got her for a thank you gift, plus she got to keep the little tiara she wore in the wedding ceremony. We got a ring boy tee shirt and a stainless steel yo-yo for our ring bearer, and he thought that was really neat. I got tank tops with crystals spelling out the word bridesmaid on them for all of my girls, plus I got my maid of honor a crystal bracelet besides. My new husband decided to handle buying the groomsmen’s gifts. For his groomsmen, he has ordered digital portable clocks and for his best man, a nice novelty pen desk set and best man mug. I could tell that all of our friends and family were having a fantastic time at the reception and they all seemed to like the little favors and gifts we bought for them.
The products I discovered on the Internet made our wedding day everything I dreamed it could be. By finding deals on the web, we were able to come in under our budget. It wasn’t just wedding items, either; I got plenty of things for the honeymoon as well. We got a ‘Do Not Disturb’ pillow to hang on our doorknob, along with hats and shirts for newlyweds. We got plenty of use out of that pillow.
