I was sitting on my couch thinking about how much better I felt about my body and about myself when I was in my twenties. I was physically fit and I liked working hard to stay that way. The ladies would take a long glance and smile at me as I walked over to them, and while I may not have been the hottest guy in the world, I was plenty hot enough to get the girls that I wanted. It was always an ego boost for me because I would be lifting at the health club or swimming in the water and have my heart pumping really hard, and the women who walked by would always give me a smile and I knew that they liked what they saw.
When I saw myself in the mirror, I knew that I didn’t have it anymore, even though I don’t consider it to be all that long ago when I was in top shape. It occurred to me that now I was spending time sitting on my sofa instead of being out exercising, and it was a no-brainer that I wasn’t going to pick up any women just lounging around my living room. The scary thing was, I was so out of shape that I wasn’t even sure if I wanted to be sized up by a woman anymore. I almost felt like I was the same individual I had always been, only now the body I was living in was totally different.
Then a friend informed me about this supplement he was taking, it was called Growth Rx, and he told me to go online and look up some creative Growth RX testimonial. There was no question that his physique had gotten better over the last few weeks, so I asked him if this was his secret, and he said that it was. It was common sense to go look into it.
What a great decision that turned out to be. There was a lot of information about Growth-Rx, and I combed through every line of it. The testimonials were quite impressive, and that made me check out the ingredients, too. I don’t go for the synthetic stuff, so I was very happy to see that everything in this product was natural. When I saw that it offered higher energy and quicker healing of muscles after a work out, I opted to give it a shot; I had already seen that it would define muscles and reduce fat by looking at my friend’s body.
It worked even better than I expected. This is the smallest pants size I’ve worn in a long, long time. My limbs began to look like those of a serious body builder. It could have been the increase in my energy level, or maybe it was the faster healing time for my muscles, but regardless of the reason, I definitely noticed an uptick in the duration and intensity of the work-outs I was doing. Whatever the case, that dream of getting back to the body I had in my twenties was becoming less of an unattainable fantasy and more of a reality every single day. As I realized that I was taking care of myself better, I started feeling better mentally, too, and my outlook on life improved.
As you can imagine, when I caught a much younger woman in her prime checking me out from head to toe at the grocery store recently, I felt like I was back on top of the world. I just stood there and enjoyed the moment. She wasn’t going to be the only girl getting an eyeful of me now that I was unlocking my physical potential with Growth Rx. I still like to relax on the couch, but from now on, I won’t be sitting there all alone.

This was my first marriage and I wanted to plan the perfect wedding shower. I needed assistance in planning my wedding and talked to my sister to see if she could help me with the planning. My sister agreed to help me and was excited about it. I know there is a lot of work to be done when planning a shower and I was eager to get started. I have planned showers before and I knew my shower would turn out awesome. There was not a whole lot of time for me to plan my shower and I thought I better get started soon.
Me and my sister were looking for a place to have the shower and enough space for all the guests. We came across one that was real close to where I live. We went on the computer to look for decorations and gifts. There were a lot of themed wedding ideas that were gorgeous. I finally found all my decorations and purchased all the gifts I needed for the wedding shower. I needed to find the shower favors. There was a lot to look at. This took some time to decide when looking at all the wonderful shower favors. I saw this handkerchief and knew right away that this is what I am going to give my guests. I thought I could purchase one for me and have it on me the day I get married. I saw a creative the handkerchief that was awesome. I knew right away that all my guests would love the cotton handkerchiefs. I decided to go with a lace handkerchief as a wedding favor for all my guests.
Everything was falling into place. We booked the hall and purchased the decorations, gifts, and wedding favors. I now had to plan what I was going to have as food for my shower. I looked into catering and found out that it was costly. I looked through all my recipes and found some great dishes that I and my sister could make in no time. We placed the order for the cake at a bakery near us. Everything was ready. I picked out these gorgeous invitations and mailed them. All we had to do was wait until the day of the shower.
It was the day of the shower and I and my sister went to the hall early to set the tables and decorate. We had the hall decorated in no time. When we were finished decorating, the hall looked so good. I made sure that I took a picture to remember how great it looked. The tables each had a centerpiece on it and the cake was put on the same table where we but the food. All the tables had a cotton handkerchief at each setting. The minute you saw the room, you would say how beautiful it looked.
We all had an excellent time with my family and friends. My guests enjoyed each other’s company. We enjoyed the games and feasted on some good food. I heard throughout the shower that my guests liked receiving the handkerchief as a gift. It was amazing to see how many gifts I did get. I did not want my shower to end, because I had so much fun and so did my guests.
At the end of the shower and when everybody was going home, my guest told me that they really loved the handkerchief. I am so glad I went with the handkerchief for the wedding favor. My special day turned out and will be remembered forever. I am so glad that my sister was there to plan the shower with me. It meant so much to me that she was a part of this.|It made me feel good that she was by my side through this.|She really touched my heart during this.[/spin] That is the reason she is my maid of honor.

The theme they chose was a creative heart wedding, and it was a very loving one one for them to choose. The presents, the invitations, the whole nine yards, all of the things in their wedding had a heart decoration of some kind on it. The RSVP info was printed on the attractive hearts wedding favors, which each had a pair silver hearts on their covers. They were really quite beautiful. Two wee hearts hung from their unity candle, which was flanked by taper candles sitting in very fine-looking holders. The altar looked fabulous with all the lovely flower bouquets and the candle setting. The tulle was strung from pew to pew, with little hearts on the pews as well. I’m sure that the hearts were related to the wedding day falling on Valentine’s Day. The bride was so beautiful that you couldn’t take your eyes off of her, and she was the center of an unforgettable ceremony.
The décor of the reception included a plethora of hearts and flowers. White roses, and some red ones, were placed in the middle of each table, and the place cards were put in holders designed around a silver hearts wedding. The wine glasses and champagne glasses made the tables sparkle. The bride arranged the tables beautifully. They had their names and the date of the wedding inscribed on the wine glasses, and the champagne flutes were crystal. On the table that the wedding party sat at, the new couple had very special champagne glasses. They were double hearts wedding flutes, with the two silver hearts linked together, just like on the hearts wedding invitation they sent me.
The hearts wedding cake they had made had five layers and it was delicious. The cake was a dream for both the eyes and the stomach. The cake topper she chose, believe it or not, wasn’t a heart, but, figurines that looked exactly like the bride and groom. That cake topper was one of a kind, and it was the first time I’ve ever seen something like that. She picked it out on the web; in fact, it was the same site she purchased her other supplies and things for the wedding from. She took some pictures of her groom and herself, and from that, they put together a cake topper that could have been their twins. Something like this has to be a really super wedding keepsake.
In the end, we gave a silver hearts wedding to all of the guests. We got coffee in a bride or groom styled package, along with a heart shaped coffee scooper, and then we also got very pretty votive candle holders. I thought that was really a cute idea they came up with. Really, there was no shortage of awesome thoughts for the wedding. Obviously, Valentine’s Day made the hearts thing a natural fit, but the way she did it was quite classy. I still can’t get over how cool that cake topper was. That’s a great idea for a birthday or any other happy celebration. She informed me that they had products for any kind of gathering you might be throwing, and she agreed to show me the website. It was a truly unforgettable evening, and the whole wedding was what every woman dreams of. The week they’re spending in Mexico is going even better for them than the wedding did, I’m sure. I can’t wait until they return and I can see all the pictures she took, listen to all the stories of the fabulous places they saw and things they did. The pictures she showed me on the brochures were fantastic.

I associated babies with childhood, and I associate childhood with Ernie singing ‘Rubber Duckie You’re the One’ on Sesame Street. I wasn’t really sure about this theme at first until I checked out all the creative little accessories and all the possibilities of having duck wedding favors. I got so many great ideas over the net, and finding adorable little accessories and supplies to go with a duck baby shower was easier than I had expected. All kinds of duck favors for baby showers or birthday parties for little ones are out there on the web, and they all look so cute.
I put tables that could seat four apiece in my basement rec room since that was plenty big enough for this size crowd. On one end of the room was a table for all the shower gifts and on the other side of the room I had a buffet style table set up with all kinds of finger foods, drinks and deserts, including an adorable little yellow duck shaped cake with the words baby girl on the bottom layer. Each had a poster or two of Mickey Mouse or one of his friends; the ones of Daffy Duck and Daisy Duck were enormous.
At each table were little pink picture frames that I used as place card holders and each frame came with a baby duck in the corner. The punch bowl had ducks painted all over it, as did the plates, napkins, glasses, and favor candles that each guest received as a gift. I set the punch bowl, which was made of glass, inside of a bathtub for a baby that was made to look like a duck; the tub was just something I picked up at a nearby store. When you looked at it, you just wanted to say, ‘aww, how sweet.’ I found an ice cube tray that made little duck ice cubes, so I put yellow water in them and froze them. I took my duck idea to great extremes.
On the world wide web, I found a bunch of great ideas, and that’s pretty much where I found everything I needed, but I did get a few recommendations from some of the people at my school. I got a duck shower favor that was a candle holder, and some duck shower favors that were rubber ducky bookmarks. The people at the shower thought they were to die for, and they got handed out to the winners of the games we did at the shower as well.
I filled a square tub with water and, prior to any guests arriving, I put a bunch of duck bath toys in it. On the bottom of the ducks I wrote numbers and as the guests arrived they each had to pick a duck out of the little pond. We gave out a prize for the person who had the winning number, which I pulled out of a hat a bit later during the shower. Another fun thing we did was when we tried to match each person to a photo of her that was taken when she was a baby. Everyone was asked to bring a baby picture of themselves and I put them all on a board, and hung it on the wall. Everyone looked over the photos and tried to figure out which picture belonged to which person who was present at the shower. The one with the most correct matches won a prize.
We had a lot of fun, great laughs and the mother to be got some really neat gifts for her little girl. I’m so glad I found this idea for the baby shower online. I pulled off one heck of a baby shower, even though it seemed pretty far-fetched at first. The idea of centering it around ducks made for an absolutely adorable theme.

I think the hardest part of planning a wedding is deciding on thank you gifts for your friends and family. You can go with lovely crystal favors, ceramic wedding favors, and even a more practical gift like household items. Whatever your preference, I found out there are an awful lot of each to choose from.
I’m planning a themed wedding in a country western motif, and I’ve found quite a few exceptional ceramic favors to work with. Favors made of ceramic are perfect for any wedding you want to have. Like the little tea caddys that I ran across online with nice black ceramic wedding trays to place them on. There are plenty of suggestions from candle holders to gorgeous tea lights and even flower vases as ceramic wedding gifts. In fact, there were so many to choose from, and like I said before, gift shopping is the hardest part of planning a wedding, so, I saved that for last.
So, my tables were first on my list to be accessorized. Picnic tables were the choice for my country western décor, and I put red and white checked tablecloths on each with daisies in little metal buckets to use as centerpieces. I bought adorable little barbecue grills as place card holders, which I let all the guests keep after the reception. Since we were having a family cookout instead of having our party catered, I thought the little grills were a nice added touch. To have the feel of the old west, we added little miniature cowboy hats for everyone’s place setting and set out cowboy boot shaped glasses for them to drink from. As ceramic wedding favors, I chose the pretty ceramic honey pots with heart shaped handles instead of the tea caddies for our friends and family. They were so adorable and they fit right in with the country motif of our reception. Although, I almost went with ceramic wedding favor candle holders, which were really awesome. With all the great decorating accessories at my disposal, our tables had the look of a real country wedding, and the rest of the motif was perfect too.
We had little twinkle white lights hanging all around the dance area, and piles of haystacks scattered about. Talk about a western themed wedding cake topper, ours was one of a cowgirl hog tying her groom and probably taking him to the preacher. We all had a good laugh from our whimsical cake topper. We all had a night to remember, with dancing, partying and lots of great laughs. The kids really had a great time on the hayride we had all fixed up for everyone, and that had to be one of the best times ever.
All of the people that were in our wedding ceremony got little gifts from us, like our bridesmaids and groomsmen. All the bridesmaids got creative little ceramic party favors, and the guys got these awesome cowboy steins as wedding thank you gifts. We bought a flower girl tee shirt and a ring bearer tee shirt for the adorable kids in the wedding. Everyone seemed to be happy with the thank you gifts we chose for them.
I also bought a few extras for myself, like a sharp little western themed guestbook and pen, picture album and I even ordered a cowboy hat for me and my husband that said bride and groom on them. I thought this would turn out great, but it was way more better than I had imagined, what a super party we had.

There are so many events in your life that you want to hold on to, that you can look back on later in life with incredible memories. There is your bridal shower, wedding day, baby showers and so many more occasions you want to hang on to the memories of. I have photo memory books that I really cherish to help my remember those special days over again. The photo wedding book of my wedding shower that my sister and my loved ones put on for me contains delightfull moments in it. I’ve got so many great pics of that very special night I shared with my friends. The pretty things they had arranged at the party and the exciting places we went to, that evening, were all caught on film. The camera doesn’t lie: we had a blast. Some of the exotic male dancers we saw posed for a couple of shots. They knew how to work the crowd. I won’t soon forget my only night watching men dance like that. They may not be as famous as the Chippendale dancers, but these were more than entertaining, that’s for sure.
An important accessory I thought would be nice to have was a memory book. I’m glad I got one with as many pages as I did. In fact I knew to buy a couple of them, so I’d have enough space for all the pictures. Once the books were full, I still had pictures left over. On certain pages in one of the picture album books were places for the guests we invited to write their names down. Our last initial was on the front of our beautiful personalized memory books, with my first initial to the left of it and my husband’s to the right of it. The fabric on the book is very pretty, and with that and the satin ribbon on them, they really are quite charming. There are also refill pages available if needed, and we certainly need them.
A lot of life-changing events are recorded in my photo albums. I don’t throw out my keepsake memory books, so I’m sure I’ll accumulate more and more. Baby shower books, a wedding book, and the one from that bachelorette party are the ones that I have currently. My daughter will be three in a few days and my son is only one. We got her a pink book and him a blue one because we decided to find out ahead of time what sex they’d be. All of their momentous occasions are recorded in there, such as their first steps and baptisms. We have fingerprints, birth certificates, and regular pictures of them in the baby memory books. The shower and wedding albums contain one of the inviations that were sent out for each occasion as well. I could open up a photo gallery with all of the pictures I have stored away.
I intend to keep the memories of those wonderful days alive for the rest of my life, and I plan on keeping my memory books in the closet, no matter how much my husband keeps complaining. With the new video camera I just bought, it’s going to be a little different, because now I have to clear room on some shelves in the den for the videos I’ll be making. So now, with the albums we have and the ones we will probably have in the future and all the videos I plan to record, I’m probably going to need a lot more room than originally planned. Well, a person needs to be able to go back in time every now and then, that’s just a part of who I am. These are the most precious years in a mothers life and I’m not letting anything get by me.

You get bride and groom gifts at wedding showers, bachelor parties, and bachelorette parties. You can get the future husband or wife a gift chosen from a lot of different options at these gatherings. A number of the gifts my husband and I got were rather remarkable. Some of the things we got were quite innovative, while most of the people at our engagement party just gave us cash, which was alright with us, every little bit helps when you are just started out. We got baseball tickets, gift certificates, wedding champagne, and a lot of small things along those lines. Even though you don’t have to bear gifts at an engagement party, many of our friends and family did anyway.
My man’s bachelor party must have been fun because he got some funny tee shirts that they made him wear with funny little phrases printed on the front. He also received as a groomsman gift, a groom sun visor, a mug with the word groom printed on it and a wine gift set. He came home from the party with an inflatable doll and a ball and chain that he said they made him wear the whole time the party was going on. There were a lots other gag bride and groom wedding gifts too that the guys had a lot of fun presenting to him. My girls night out party was fantastic too and I got a lot of gag gifts, but also quite a few nice bride gifts too. I received a present with a big ribbon on top that turned out to be an elegant white evening bag made of satin with a crystal clasp on it. There were some feminine items like a manicure set in the bag, along with a tee shirt and pin that were designed for the bride to wear at a bachelorette party. I loved this pillow they gave me which had the word ‘tonight’ embroidered on a side, and then you turned it over and it read ‘not tonight’. It was definitely an unusual and funny throw pillow.
On the other hand, the bride and groom wedding gifts we got the reception were all more serious. We thought we might get some duplicate gifts, and we did, like a few blenders and a couple more toaster ovens than we really need, but that’s to be expected at such a large ceremony. I was fortunate enough to receive a certain food processor and some fine china that I had requested on my bridal registry. My husband just adored the billards table and bar set that his parents gave us, and I know we will get a lot of use out of that. As a wedding gift from my mom and dad they bought our plane tickets for our honeymoon to the Greek Isles. We received a lot of wonderful gifts on our wedding day from our loving families and fantastic friends.
Having all our friends and family around us on this more than special day meant more to us than anything. They were with us every step of the way, from our engagement party to the wedding and to the reception dinner. It’s good to know you have so many people that care this much about you and are there for you during the good times and the bad. Having those crazy friends that go all out to give you the best girls night out party or a super cool bachelor party, means a lot too. There is never a dull moment in our lives with the super great friends we have. The magnitude of our gratefulness for having them as friends, along with the most fantastic families, just cannot be expressed in something as small as a thank you note.

I’m giving my best friend a bridal shower and before I even got started I sat down and made a list of all the things I needed to buy for the party. The first priority was finding a engagement party invitation. Dragging myself from shop to shop hoping to find a good deal or a decent selection isn’t my idea of a good time, so I went searching for supplies online. That was the right thing to do. The prices and selection were both better than I expected. The price I paid on some things were almost criminal. The script on the party invitations was silver, and the edges were pearl; they looked exquisite. They had most all kinds of invitation cards, from general party invitations to specific ones, like wedding party invitations.
I found some darling place card holders for the party as well, among other things. One of the things I found was a little bridal guest book for everyone to sign and for the bride, to be, to keep a record of every gift she received. There was also a cute idea for a place card holder that I really liked. They had these little plastic handbags that I filled with colorful little candies and found place cards with pink lilies printed on them. They looked so nice on the party tables along with the decorations and party favors I chose for everyone. You should see all the cute litte favor boxes you can get for just about any ocassion you are planning on celebrating. Flower decorations were on the containers I picked out, and I put them all on a serving dish on the table that held the gifts. It was a good-looking way to set it up, and everyone there just came by and grabbed a gift. As thank you gifts I decided on manicure sets for everyone, and I bought a few extra gifts as prizes for the party games we were going to play. I got little decorative soaps, purse mirrors, novelty key rings and many other little trinkets that made great prizes.
I went online and got some great game ideas for the party too. In the the game ‘Take It Off,’ each person put a bag over their head and they have to take off one piece of clothing when the leader of the game tells them to, and it doesn’t occur to all of the women to take of the bag; it’s very amusing to watch. This is really a hysterical game to play. We also played bridal bingo and a couple other funny games. I’m so glad I thought to browse the internet, else wise I wouldn’t have gotten such great deals and accessories. I made out alright purchasing my favors and invitations from them. The things I purchased were well made, and I spent a lot whole less than I thought I would have to, and had a whole lot more choices. I had to tell the bride to be all about this website I go to, because they have an awesome selection of wedding invitations and favors too, and I thought she should know about it. She’ll have a lot of options when she uses this site, and it will save her a pretty penny, which all newlyweds need. I know it helped to make this bridal shower a success. The attendees all adored their presents and had a wonderful time. Now that the party is over, I’m filling out the guest thank you cards thanking them for attending. The thank you cards, as you might expect, were purchased on the net as well. Next, I’m helping with my friends sons’ birthday party with the help of my favorite online store.

All the reception tables were set up with lovely mikasa crystal accessories at a wedding I attended last week. The place settings were so lovely with all the mikasa weddingsand gorgeous mikasa crystal glassware. The bride decorated her whole wedding and all the reception tables with such excellent taste. The tables just shined with lustre and elegance with all the different mikasa accessories.
The place cards rested on the tails of these very beautiful little silver doves. The elegance of her reception tables were enhanced by the lovely centerpieces she had chosen. For her centerpieces she had lovely pillar candles with a floral garnish surrounding them. They also chose very impressive thank you gifts for all of the guests. At every table setting was a lovely gift of mikasa crystal wedding favors. The beautiful mikasa crystal was packaged in such lovely favor boxes with nice little thank you hang tags attached.
Five layers of chocolate heaven with chocolate flavored cream cheese on each and every layer was the choice of wedding cakes they had. As the cake topper she had a really unique idea. She shopped online for almost all of her wedding accessories and reception supplies and found out they customized cake toppers for weddings. All she had to do was send in a couple of head shots of her and her fiance and they customized bride and groom figurines that look exactly like the happy couple. It looked just like them. My mom and dad are having a renewal ceremony for their anniversary, and I’d like to find out where she ordered that cake topper from so I could get one made for their reception party.
I think one of the funniest part of this whole thing was when it was time for the garter toss. All those single men gathered together with a growing excitement while they watched the groom remove the leg garter from his bride. Then watching them fall all over each other, trying to be the lucky guy to catch it. One guy didn’t want to be in the garter toss contest, but the other guys persuaded him to do so, and this sweet little widower in his 70’s walked away with the lace garter. As the old man walked off with the garter in hand he was smiling from ear to ear.
For the bridal toast we all had crystal champagne flutes, that we were also given to take home, with the names of the bride and groom, and date of the wedding printed on them. After the best man said his speech and we toasted the bride and groom, it was time for their first dance together as man and wife. Watching them dancing together, so elegantly, was so moving. After their first dance was over, the dance floor was over run with couples. I know I went overboard on the dancing, my feet hurt all night long.
Finally it was time for the bride and groom to depart for their honeymoon, and we all said our good byes. Hawaii was the honeymoon destination, from what I was told by one of the guests. They’ll have a honeymoon to equal this fabulous wedding and reception. The rest of us partied until we couldn’t party no more.
It was only a couple of weeks later that I got my thank you card from the happy couple thanking me for sharing their wedding day with them and for the wedding gift I bought for them. She really got to these thank you’s quickly. By the way, I did find out how she could affordable a mikasa crystal wedding and that fantastic cake topper. So today, I’m placing my order for the special cake topper and other accessories for my parents special renewal ceremony and reception.

Today, we have watch jewelry boxes, earring jewelry boxes, other types of boxes for jewelry, but years ago, pretty much everything was put into an incredible jewelry boxes. The boxes can be designed in a wide variety of ways. For her wedding day, my daughter got her bridesmaids jewelry boxes, and one for herself as well. In fact, she found even more than that when she went shopping online for all of her wedding accessories and reception supplies. All kinds of ideas are on there for weddings in a specific theme, or more standard, old-fashioned types of weddings. My daughter and son in law chose to have a fairy tale themed wedding, with all the trimmings. It was an incredible sight to behold when he stood waiting, in his majestic tuxedo as she walked down the isle in a dress that would have made Cinderella jealous. It really was a beautiful wedding. A horse drawn carriage with a driver in classical attire swept the two of them away from the church after the ceremony was over.
We all met at the reception hall which she had elegantly decorated with lovely flower vases and tulle draped in a carousel fashion with little white twinkling lights. An arch with green plants and red and white roses climbing up an arch stood behind the newlyweds’ table, while the wedding guests had at their tables an exquisite bouquet of flowers with sparkles that shimmered silver. The reception tables twinkled even more with the silver tea light dove place card holders she selected. The small jewelry boxes each woman at the wedding got as a favor had crystals and flowers beautifully interwoven in their design. All the guys got a key chain with a frog wearing a crown and royal robe on them, which represented the infamous frog prince. The wooden, silver-plated, wholesale jewelry boxes that each of the bridesmaids received had a black velvet lining. My daughter and son in law had each of them engraved with the bride and grooms name and date of the wedding. The thank you gift my daughter gave the girls was very warmly received. The jewelry box she got them looked very nice, but it was in fact a discount jewelry box and I had one like it myself for a long time. The men each got a commemorative inscription in a small plaque and a set of wine related gifts. Those were great, one of a kind thank you gifts, in my opinion.
Her wedding cake topper was a really unique little dream castle that really showed off the lovliness of their three tiered wedding cake. The cake knife set and champagne glasses meshed perfectly together with the cake. Many of her decorations and supplies were top of the line, but she came in well below where I had expected on their wedding budget. We offered to pay for the wedding, since we are the brides parents, but they both insisted they could do it themselves.
I cried as I watched them dance their first dance as husband and wife, it looked as if they were the only ones in the room. It truly looked like something out of a fairytale, just like the ball in the Cinderella story. You would have thought that it was a real princess tossing her garter the way the guys jostled for position to get it; it was a very amusing sight to behold. My daughter’s wedding day was as magical as she imagined it would be, and the whole thing was so special. They are off on their honeymoon, and I’m certain that it will be every bit as fantastic as the wedding. She promised to tell me all about the great places they went to while on their honeymoon, as soon as she gets home.
