Ponderosas!

I’m giving my best friend a bridal shower and before I even got started I sat down and made a list of all the things I needed to buy for the party. The first priority was finding a engagement party invitation. Dragging myself from shop to shop hoping to find a good deal or a decent selection isn’t my idea of a good time, so I went searching for supplies online. That was the right thing to do. The prices and selection were both better than I expected. The price I paid on some things were almost criminal. The script on the party invitations was silver, and the edges were pearl; they looked exquisite. They had most all kinds of invitation cards, from general party invitations to specific ones, like wedding party invitations.
I found some darling place card holders for the party as well, among other things. One of the things I found was a little bridal guest book for everyone to sign and for the bride, to be, to keep a record of every gift she received. There was also a cute idea for a place card holder that I really liked. They had these little plastic handbags that I filled with colorful little candies and found place cards with pink lilies printed on them. They looked so nice on the party tables along with the decorations and party favors I chose for everyone. You should see all the cute litte favor boxes you can get for just about any ocassion you are planning on celebrating. Flower decorations were on the containers I picked out, and I put them all on a serving dish on the table that held the gifts. It was a good-looking way to set it up, and everyone there just came by and grabbed a gift. As thank you gifts I decided on manicure sets for everyone, and I bought a few extra gifts as prizes for the party games we were going to play. I got little decorative soaps, purse mirrors, novelty key rings and many other little trinkets that made great prizes.
I went online and got some great game ideas for the party too. In the the game ‘Take It Off,’ each person put a bag over their head and they have to take off one piece of clothing when the leader of the game tells them to, and it doesn’t occur to all of the women to take of the bag; it’s very amusing to watch. This is really a hysterical game to play. We also played bridal bingo and a couple other funny games. I’m so glad I thought to browse the internet, else wise I wouldn’t have gotten such great deals and accessories. I made out alright purchasing my favors and invitations from them. The things I purchased were well made, and I spent a lot whole less than I thought I would have to, and had a whole lot more choices. I had to tell the bride to be all about this website I go to, because they have an awesome selection of wedding invitations and favors too, and I thought she should know about it. She’ll have a lot of options when she uses this site, and it will save her a pretty penny, which all newlyweds need. I know it helped to make this bridal shower a success. The attendees all adored their presents and had a wonderful time. Now that the party is over, I’m filling out the guest thank you cards thanking them for attending. The thank you cards, as you might expect, were purchased on the net as well. Next, I’m helping with my friends sons’ birthday party with the help of my favorite online store.

Everything I looked at as far as wedding accessories were fantastic. They supplied me with most of my wedding and reception décor. But when it came to the bridesmaid gifts, I just couldn’t decide on which one I wanted to order. There were so many lovely ideas for thank you gifts for the bridesmaids. Buying the groomsmen gifts didn’t seem to be half as hard for my fiance. He found some very nice shot glasses he liked and that was what he chose to buy for the guys. With me, I’m on there everyday looking at the selection over and over again, trying to make a decision.

I’d decide on the jewelry boxes and then the lovely bracelet they have would side track me and I’d start considering that. Thank goodness it was much easier picking out our items for the ceremony and reception party. I already had what I wanted, in mind, for those accessories. There were many fantastic accessories I ordered for my wedding and reception with a fall theme. All the bright vibrant colors of fall were in the accessories I chose for our fall wedding and reception. There were even flower girl baskets and ring bearer pillows that came in an autumn motif. I ordered everything from the flower basket to an aisle runner.

There reception ideas for fall accessories were really sensational. Not only were there lovely place card holders, but really exquisite wedding favors and boxes for packaging them in. I know our friends and family will really be impressed with their party favors we got for them. We had 200 guests and I ordered 201 wedding favors, because I liked them so much, I thought it would make a great keepsake to add with my other momentos. I never knew glass coasters could be so lovely as the ones I chose for the wedding favors. I also bought our wedding cake topper from there and had no problem picking out the one I liked the best. I really loved the gorgeous storybook toppers, but I chose a lovely glass heart with our names on it. There was a gorgeous little storybook cake topper I would have chosen if we were having a fairytale theme. I would have been ordering the castle topper for a storybook wedding. It was truly elegant and would have made the perfect choice for a fairytale theme.

I couldn’t understand why I was having such a hard time picking out a nice bridesmaid gift, when it was so easy to choose my wedding and reception supplies. I was even able to get some of our accessories at wholesale prices. There were bridesmaid gift ideas that looked expensive, but was very reasonably priced. After about a week of going back and forth with all the gifts available, I narrowed it down to two. It was either going to be the lovely silver jewelry boxes or the exquisite silver bracelet. Even though I had it narrowed down to only two items, it still took me a little longer to make that final decision. But I did finally decided on what I was going to do. The conclusion to this problem was simple, I’ll give them both as wedding gifts. Each of my bridesmaids were getting a silver jewelry box and a silver bracelet as my thank you gift. I think my bridesmaids are worth the extra gift, and it wasn’t all that expensive either.

Thankfully, everything turned out fantastic for our wedding day. Our wedding ceremony was absolutely filled with all the romance and beauty any bride could have wanted, and we all had a wonderful time at the reception. I got a lot of compliments on our fall wedding décor and our guests seemed to like the wedding favors we chose for them. The groomsmen gifts and the bridesmaids gifts were a big hit. This was the best day of my life.
