Creative heart wedding

Sunday, May 17th, 2009

The theme they chose was a creative heart wedding, and it was a very loving one one for them to choose. The presents, the invitations, the whole nine yards, all of the things in their wedding had a heart decoration of some kind on it. The RSVP info was printed on the attractive hearts wedding favors, which each had a pair silver hearts on their covers. They were really quite beautiful. Two wee hearts hung from their unity candle, which was flanked by taper candles sitting in very fine-looking holders. The altar looked fabulous with all the lovely flower bouquets and the candle setting. The tulle was strung from pew to pew, with little hearts on the pews as well. I’m sure that the hearts were related to the wedding day falling on Valentine’s Day. The bride was so beautiful that you couldn’t take your eyes off of her, and she was the center of an unforgettable ceremony.
The décor of the reception included a plethora of hearts and flowers. White roses, and some red ones, were placed in the middle of each table, and the place cards were put in holders designed around a silver hearts wedding. The wine glasses and champagne glasses made the tables sparkle. The bride arranged the tables beautifully. They had their names and the date of the wedding inscribed on the wine glasses, and the champagne flutes were crystal. On the table that the wedding party sat at, the new couple had very special champagne glasses. They were double hearts wedding flutes, with the two silver hearts linked together, just like on the hearts wedding invitation they sent me.
The hearts wedding cake they had made had five layers and it was delicious. The cake was a dream for both the eyes and the stomach. The cake topper she chose, believe it or not, wasn’t a heart, but, figurines that looked exactly like the bride and groom. That cake topper was one of a kind, and it was the first time I’ve ever seen something like that. She picked it out on the web; in fact, it was the same site she purchased her other supplies and things for the wedding from. She took some pictures of her groom and herself, and from that, they put together a cake topper that could have been their twins. Something like this has to be a really super wedding keepsake.
In the end, we gave a silver hearts wedding to all of the guests. We got coffee in a bride or groom styled package, along with a heart shaped coffee scooper, and then we also got very pretty votive candle holders. I thought that was really a cute idea they came up with. Really, there was no shortage of awesome thoughts for the wedding. Obviously, Valentine’s Day made the hearts thing a natural fit, but the way she did it was quite classy. I still can’t get over how cool that cake topper was. That’s a great idea for a birthday or any other happy celebration. She informed me that they had products for any kind of gathering you might be throwing, and she agreed to show me the website. It was a truly unforgettable evening, and the whole wedding was what every woman dreams of. The week they’re spending in Mexico is going even better for them than the wedding did, I’m sure. I can’t wait until they return and I can see all the pictures she took, listen to all the stories of the fabulous places they saw and things they did. The pictures she showed me on the brochures were fantastic.
