Ponderosas!

When my fiance and I set the date for our wedding, I started planning and shopping for all my accessories and wedding supplies, right away. I’m an online shopaholic, so, my first course of action was to hit the web. With all the great accessories and reception supplies I found online, it was easy to find what I needed for our wedding. From invitations to fantastic wedding favors gifts for our guests, they had it all.

To start with we decided that we wanted to have a theme wedding and we agreed to make it a beach themed wedding and reception. We’ve always lived near the water, even as kids and it has been a favorite place of ours and our friends for years.

I ordered beach invitations right away so they would be on their way to our friends and family, first thing. All the guests we invited said they would be there and that they can hardly wait to watch us walk down the aisle. Now, since the invitations were taken care of, I could concentrate on finding the bridal accessories I want for my wedding. Shopping online has almost become a hobby for me, but even I couldn’t believe what a wonderful selection of wedding bridal accessories they had to offer. The first thing ordered was the exquisite hair comb and tiara to wear on my wedding day. Not only did I find the perfect hair accessories, but my wedding jewelry too. I looked at all the jewelry and found the necklace and earring set I wanted to wear with my wedding dress. It was so beautiful with little pearls and glistening crystals, it looked fantastic.

There was an amazing bride accessory display that was so beautiful and even reasonable in price. I ordered some things for our honeymoon too. I know that a short thin materialed dress would have been more appropriate for a beach ceremony, but I had my heart set on my full length gown. My bridesmaids and flower girl wore knee length satin dresses with spaghetti straps to help keep them cool and comfortable. They all looked so lovely in their wedding attire.

There were torches around the reception area and the dance floor was lit up with little white lights we had strung around. I had sailboat place card holders and placed seashells and starfish all around the tables. The wedding favors I chose were lovely photo frames with a beach design, because I thought they were so pretty and I know that’s something that they can always use. I think the picture frames I chose were to their liking.

There were tealights and candles to light up our beautifully set bridal table and lovley beach themed flutes for the wedding toast. All the supplies and accessories for our wedding reception was decorated in an oceanside motif, and so was our cake topper. We had a cake topper of a young couple holding each other as they walked along the beach. I’m so glad they had all the supplies and bridal accessories we needed to plan the perfect beach wedding and reception. There was so much seafood, such as lobsters, crabs and shrimp and we also had plenty of chicken and steaks for the non seafood eaters. We danced to some really great tunes and enjoyed the fantastic foods that were prepared and just had one heck of a beach party. It was a little sad when we had to leave for our honeymoon and everyone was still partying it up.

After we returned from our honeymoon, I had to get down to writing all the thank you notes to our guests. Whenever I want to remember my wedding day, I’ll take out my beach themed photo album and look at all the pictures we had taken.
